Universe by Statistical Chance

Here child, is the big bang in fast motion
A handful of sand thrown into the air
Grains in orbit and systems in clusters
And an increasingly diffuse outer rim
Surrounded by a vast mysterious void

Some grains have facets that glitter reflected light
They are moons that just need the chance
To stretch that moment across the dying fire
Of ten trillion years,
They can manifest sustained light
If we let
Time depends only on how fast or slow you think

Desert sand doesn’t yield much life
And nor does the universe by statistic
How many handfuls, with the correct grit makeup
Before a proper singularity
One that inspires more words
That we could ever read
