What Comes Around Goes Around or The Wizard of Laws

Go ahead, talk about me behind my back. Be
passive-aggressive to me to my face. Write

about me. Think about me. Do unto me as you
would have done onto God. After all, only the

most interesting people are deliberated. Only the
most noteworthy people are written about, only

the most beloved obsessed over. So go ahead, in-
vest your time, your energy, your life-force in

me, for when you voluntarily put your efforts in-
to my destruction, you strengthen me. Make me

Popular. Famous. Immortal.

So, by all means, deplete your powers to conjure
me, summon me into your space, will me into

your life, into your head, your heart. After all
everyone knows what you say about me is what

you really think of yourself. What you wish on-
to others is what you eventually cast unto your-

self. Like Newton’s Third Law of Motion, for
your every self-hating intention, someone some-

where shall love me more. For every person you
hurt, woe shall betide you. Everyone you adore,

you shall destroy. And once you have done so,
once you have colluded with Universal Law,

gilded my flaws, made me the effect of your cause,
be gone, your schadenfreude has no power here!
